Exhaust Extraction System
New Exhaust Extraction System is installed and operational.
In December, 2006, we received a Federal Grant to install exhaust extraction equipment in our main station apparatus bays. We’ve awarded a bid for the installation to Weidner Fire and expect work to begin in March. This equipment will eliminate diesel fumes completely from the bays, adjoining offices and living quarters.
This system will greatly improve the environmental quality of the fire station for our firefighters and community users
