Community Disaster Response
The Need
The City of Leavenworth and the surrounding area is a small community with major emergency response challenges.

Your Fire Department
Chelan County Fire District 3 provides fire and rescue services to Leavenworth and the surrounding area.

The Opportunity
To expand our community’s capacity to respond to major emergencies including fires (both wildfire and structural), mass casualty incidents, and other incidents that might overwhelm our ready resources, we’re looking for:
- Reserve firefighters and medical personnel to augment staffing.
- People who can help our responder families when the responder is on-duty and unable to come home.
- People to make food to feed responders during major emergencies.
